Cyrus Weaver Obituary
Cap graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1988, where he was an all-state football player. He married the love of his life, Tina, on New Year's Eve in 1996. Cap worked at Bailey Printing for over 20 years and was coined the "Photoshop Wizard" by his family. Cap centered his life around his family as an active coach, parent, and cheerleader for all three of his kids. When he wasn't at his happy place at the family farm, Cap could be found tailgating at a UVA football game, DJ'ing with his friends, or spending time with his wife and children. Cap loved UVA, but if you knew him, you know his true team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. As a Christian, Cap believed in the power of prayer, in God's eternal love, in everlasting life with God in heaven and he inspired others to join the Christian faith.
Cap was interred at his beloved family farm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Cy I went to CHS with Cy. He was a nice guy and had a great Spirit.

I was so shocked to read Cy's obituary this morning. He was always so helpful in putting together the annual "Heat Sheet" for the Jefferson Swim League Championship. I looked forward to working with him every year. What a great guy!
