David DeVivi Obituary

David "Rusty" Michael DeVivi, 59, of South Madison Street, Orange, Virginia, died Friday, June 29, 2007.

He was born September 4, 1947, in Orange County, Virginia, and was the son of the late Alfred A. DeVivi Sr. and Helen Eades DeVivi.

He was an assembler for Ridgid Kollman Products. He loved karaoke, and was a karaoke king, where he made many wonderful friends; his singing will be missed by all. He was a member of the Charlottesville Moose Lodge #1028.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Houchens DeVivi, and his cat, "Miss Lady", both of Orange, Virginia; three brothers, Alfred A. "Butch" DeVivi Jr. of Orange, Richard A. "Ricky" DeVivi of Reedville, and John S. DeVivi of Orange; three sisters, Joanne Graziano of Staunton, Helen St. Sanver of Staunton, and Leila "Candy" Foxwell of Birds Nest, South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007, graveside at the Holly Memorial Gardens of Charlottesville, Virginia. The Reverend Kyle Clements will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2007, at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, Orange, VA 22960.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charlottesville Moose Lodge #1028, Charlottesville, Virginia.

You said it all he will me missed by alot of people he was truley the Karokee king David was a kind and Gentle soul I will miss him becuse if not for David I probaly would have never started singing at Karokee He said just get up there and sing when i did he was alway's there cheering me on.
