Luella Marie Gibb, 97, of Charlottesville, Va., passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at The Collonades. She was born on May 30, 1917, in Chicago Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and her husband, Henry Gibb Jr.Luella is survived by her sons, Henry Gibb III and wife, Barbara of Wintergreen, Va. and Dennis Robert Gibb of Redmond Washington. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jonathan H. Gibb, Heather Marie Gibb, Dennis Robert Gibb Jr., and Genevieve Gibb; and Two great grandchildren, Harrison Bell and Berkley Grace Gibb.A memorial service will be held for Luella Gibb on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Rockfish Presbyterian Church, 5016 Rockfish Valley Hwy, Nellysford, Va. According to Luella's wishes, the service will be a very simple remembrance of life.In lieu of flowers, the family recommends, a donation in Luella's name to the Rockfish Presbyterian Church or the First Presbyterian Church of Charlottesville, 500 Park Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902.
