The Jenks Family,

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Story. I was privileged to meet him through my cousins Ashley and Cory Winn and last spent time with him when he joined our family for a few days at OBX. I was always touched by his quiet presence. May you feel God's grace and love during this most difficult of times.

In His Love,

Dear Jenks Family,

I have always looked to you all as "my other family" as you have taken me under your wing. Not a day passes that I am not fighting through prayer that Jesus would bring you comfort in this time. I know how it can hurt to loose someone so close. I have no doubt that Story is dancing with the angels. I loved him so dearly and will miss him until we're together again.

Dr. and Mrs. Jenks, Stanley, Liz, and Sarah, Story was one of the most thoughtful people I have ever known, it was more than a privilege to be a friend of his. During this Christmas season while we are celebrating the life of Christ, we will always be celebrating the life of Story. May your hearts be filled with peace and love during this time.

My daughter Maggie attends the College of Charleston and was devastated to hear the news of her good friend's brother. She got to know Story through Liz. My son Drew, got to know Story when he attended the Covenant School. He too was surprised and shocked when he had heard the news of "Such a nice guy."

My brother had died at the age of 20 over 30 years ago and he still lives on in my heart. I know that some day we will be together again. God has purpose when he calls for them at such a young age. How lucky it is for those who go, and how difficult it is for those who stay behind. My prayers will be for you all. May God bless you and protect you during this most difficult time.

Story was the most loving of people, and he has touched so many people through his quiet, gentle nature. I am so sorry for your loss Dr and Mrs Jenks, Liz, Sarah and Stanley. You raised a wonderful son and brother who I will never forget nor stop loving. Take comfort that he is now finally at rest, and playing Eric Clapton on his guitar with the angels. I love y'all.

Matt called early this week from JMU with the devastating news of the loss of your sweet son. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of your family. There are no words that can capture what our hearts long to say to you...We pray that you will know that God will sustain you through this difficult period.

When my mom died suddenly, during an already difficult period for my children and I, it helped to picture her in Jesus' presence and at Christmas, knowing that she was celebrating right there with Him.

Love, Laurie, Matt and Kirsten Abraham
