Mary Ann Hackney Scott

Mary Ann Hackney Scott, 89, of Louisa, Va., born on May 16, 1928, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, preceded in death by her loving husband, Deacon Walter Frank Scott Sr. She leaves to continue her legacy: Four daughters, Diane S. Haden (Pastor Haden) of Fort Washington, Md., Veta Scott Wiggins-Nakai, and Chris Marie Scott both of Albuquerque, N. Mex., and Minister Dale Morris Bradshaw (Henry) of Louisa, Va.; two sons, Walter Scott Jr. of Richmond, Va., and Glen W. Scott of Louisa, Va.; one sister, Melinda H. Bruce of Kents Store, Va.; five sisters-in-law, Elisha Scott, Audrey S. Perkins, Leona Johnson, Phyliss Hackney, all of Louisa, Va., and Mattie Hackney of Haymarket, Va.; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great- grandchildren; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Our beloved rests at the D.D. Watson Mortician, Inc., at 117 West Street, Louisa, VA 23093. The home-going service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the County Line Baptist Church, 4070 County Line Road, Kents Store, VA 23084.
