Minor McLean Obituary

Halsey McLean Minor Jr, age 18, died on Friday, July 29, 2016.He was born January 9, 1998, in San Francisco, Calif., to Deborah Lee Minor and Halsey McLean Minor. He is survived by his parents, andseven sisters and brothers.Extraordinary at a young age, he wasable to handily master anything that drew his gaze. Within him God had placed many of his greatest gifts, except the ability to see in himself what was so evident to all those around him and who loved him so. He was a young man prepossessed of infinite possibilities, obscured by the never ceasing, blinding lights of oncoming depression. He passed with a golden heart, cherished deeply by all those who got to know him during his too brief moment amidst us all.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at Ruxton Farm, 4634 Catterton Road, Free Union. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (http://afsp.donordrive.com/campaign/mackieminor).Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hillandwood.com
