Martha was born to Margaret and Everett Allen LeVee in Little Falls, New York on September 4, 1928. Martha (Marty) graduated from Syracuse University with a teaching degree. She married her high school sweetheart Ernest H. Mueller and husband of 61 years. They moved to Huntington, Long Island in 1952 where both worked as public-school teachers. Martha had two children, Jon Alan Mueller of Annapolis, Maryland, and Cheryl Mueller Jones of Chalfont, Pennsylvania. In 1966, the family moved to Charlottesville, Virginia, where Martha pursued her Masters Degree in Education at the University of Virginia. Martha worked as a teacher while supporting Ernie, a public-school superintendent, which required them to move to Haymarket, Virginia, Chalfont, Pennsylvania, Schalmont, New York, and Oak Park, Illinois. The couple moved back to Charlottesville when Ernie retired. After Ernie's passing in 2010, Martha moved to Baywoods of Annapolis. After 90 years of a blessed, full life, Martha passed away surrounded by her children in her home on November 28, 2018. Martha was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and an avid lover of the arts, golf and dogs. She loved spending time at the family summer home in Canada Lake, New York. Martha had five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Margareta (Gretta) Mitchell of Herkimer, New York and Lucille (Lucy) Lockett Stone of Mountain View, California. A celebration of Martha's life will be held at Under the Hemlocks, Canada Lake, New York in June 2019. Remembrances can be made to Anne Arundel Medical Center, Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute or Daughters of the American Revolution.
