Robert Bourne Obituary
He was the son of Charles W. Bourne Jr. and Rosemary Collins. Rob was born, raised and lived in the Fluvanna/Charlottesville area. Rob was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; his father, Charles Jr.; his baby brother, Daniel Wayne; and his nephew, Andrew (Levi) Gibson. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Collins; siblings, Charlie Bourne (Tami), Bev Couch (Dave), Marlene Miller (Michael), and Matthew, many loving nieces, nephews; and his beloved cats, Miss Kitty and Roscoe.
Rob had a big heart and everyone who met him knew what a sweet soul he was.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Sheridan Funeral Home, 4626 Cedar Lane Road, Kents Store, Virginia, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery, 1794 Richmond Road, Troy, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Fluvanna County SPCA, Rob would have loved this!

Robert and Pepper were my neighbors quite a number of years. After his wife passed I still lived next door. My name is Joyce Moses. They were great people and my neighbor. Since she passed I moved away. May they both RIP.
