Roberta and I worked together at Centel in Charlottesville and we're best friends. I never knew what happened to her and recently we reconnected via Facebook. We had made plans to get together and visit and I was so saddened when I read her obituary in the newspaper. I am so sorry for your loss but I'm sure you know what a great person she was. Her park family has been very saddened to receive the news of Roberta's passing.
I had the great privilege of working with one of the kindest, most generous and truly thoughtful women in my 10 years with state parks.
Roberta greeted every day with a positive outlook and shared her wonderful sense of humor with everyone. She had a Peaceful way about her and when she smiled, you knew everything would be alright.
I take comfort in knowing she is sharing her smiles from the Heavens.
