Susan Mobley Obituary
Susan was born on September 21, 1945, in Houston, Texas, to Howard Charles Evans and Dorothy Taylor Evans. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as her partner, Dru Wood.
She is survived by her brother, Mike Evans and his, wife Pat; her daughter, Michelle Miller; and her three grandchildren, Maria Mobley, Brandon Miller and his partner, Rachel Musser, and Trey Miller.
She spent most of her working years at Martha Jefferson Hospital where she worked in Quality Assurance. She retired to become a full time granny. She later went back to work part time at Hearthwood Apartments, where she became the neighborhood granny. She will be greatly missed by all whom she touched.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023, 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 101 E Jefferson St., Charlottesville, Va. In lieu of flowers, her wishes were that you make a donation to the charity of your choice.

Dear Michelle and family,
So sorry for your loss. I have many memories from our years working together in the Lexington Ave office for MJH in Utilization Review department. Loved her sense of humor and her kindness. My deepest sympathy. May God comfort you as grieve.

I remember Susan with great fondness. She and I worked together at the telephone company in Charlottesville for awhile. She made the BEST chili ever!! Prayers for the family.
