David Keown Obituary
AGE: 40 • Morristown
David Anthony Keown, 40, died suddenly on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012. He was born in Dublin, Ireland and moved with his family at age 3 to Morristown, N.J. David graduated from Morristown High School and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was currently a member of Pipefitters, Local 274. His heartful love was his Irish heritage and his family.
He is survived by his mother, Donna (Masterfano) Keown and sister, Mary Lynn Keown. David was predeceased by his loving father, Kieran J. Keown. Also survived are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially his 22 year friendship with Karena Kolar.
Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to Make A Wish Foundation.

Tom and I, David's former neighbors for over 10 years, have just heard this shocking and awful news. We are both deeply saddened and offer our most sincere condolences to David's family and Karena, who was also our neighbor for many years. So sorry we never got to say goodbye, Dave. RIP.
