I will never forget Mr Tasker riding around on his wheel horse tractor. He was always working around his house when not fighting a fire somewhere in the Township. My thoughts and prayers go out to the rest of the family. Jay J. Blumberg, Esquire

Friendship with Gordon is among the greatest honors my life will know. One had to earn his respect and serve with honor to be at his side. I'm so sorry to learn of his passing, but blessed to be reminded of such a life that blessed us all.

Many thanks to Mr Tasker for his commitment to the fire service. I had the privilege to know him as a young man and learn from him as a young firefighter . Prayers to his family.

I remember the Tasker family fondly from our 15 years in Boonton Twp. Mr. and Mrs. Tasker were warm and friendly people and their children were polite and friendly as well. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Tasker Family.

The North Jersey Volunteer Firemen's Association extends its sympathies to the Tasker family upon Gordon's passing. For many years he was a friend to the firefighters of not just Boonton Township and Morris County but the entire State of New Jersey. He did so much that there is not enough room to mention even small parts of his accompishments.
Knowing him personally for over 35 years I also wish to extend personal condolences. Regretfully it does not appear that I will be to attend the sevices on Monday.
