Dr. J. Michael Kirschenbaum

AGE: 79 • Chester

Dr. J. Michael Kirschenbaum, 79, of Chester, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 18th, while vacationing in Amsterdam. Born in New York City to Gabe and Ceil Kirschenbaum, and he lived most of his life in Bernardsville, New Jersey. Dr. Kirschenbaum was an extremely dedicated father, husband and friend. He was a physician in Mendham, New Jersey for over 45 years. Dr. Kirschenbaum was an extremely loving father and survived by his three daughters, Lisa Bardin, of Los Altos, CA, Nina Cerda of Bedminster, NJ, and Jill Berkin of Whitehouse Station, NJ. He was a proud and loving grandfather to his six grandchildren Anthony, Andrew, Nicole, Shai, Bianka and Mika. He is survived by his wife and best friend of over 50 years, Paulenne (Roeske) Kirschenbaum; He is also survived by his sister Debbie Salama, of Florida.

Funeral service was private and held in Amsterdam. Memorial donations may be made in Dr. Kirschenbaum's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

That I miss him and his hearty laugh and always thoughtful ways. My family and I went to him from the time my youngest was born she is now 37! He a was always great with the kids and I had a wonderful relationship with him. He was an amazing Doctor and we were blessed to have found him! I am sure he is in Heaven watching over his wonderful family and still telling them how to behave!!!!! I hope you all are doing good there is nothing that would make him happier.

He was a great doctor and more importantly a truly wonderful human being, I knew him for over 30 years and he always helped you, whether it be a medical problem or personal, I will miss him and pray for him and his family, I am sure he went straight to heaven, please accept my condolences from the bottom of my heart. Rest in peace dear friend.
