Jeanette Epstein

AGE: 97 • Morris Township

Jeanette Epstein (Muller) of Morris Township, NJ and Merry Heart of Boonton Twp., NJ passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013. She was 97 years old.

Jeanette was born in New Brunswick, NJ and resided most of her life in the Morristown area. She graduated from Morristown High School in 1934.

This is where she met her husband, Morris Epstein. Jeanette was a life long member of the Morristown Jewish Community Center Beit Yisrael where she was active in many volunteer activities including the Sisterhood and Shalom Club. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed making beautiful flower arrangements. Jeanette will always be remembered as a kind and friendly person who made a positive impression wherever she went. Jeanette is predeceased by her husband Morris Epstein and siblings Irma Rothschild and Harry and Freddie Muller.

She is survived by her children Susan Salsberg and Marty Epstein and their spouses John Salsberg and Fran Epstein as well as her five grandchildren and their partners: Stephanie Salsberg and Lorraine Trippodi, Daniel and Diana Salsberg, Jesse and Johanna Epstein, Molly and Taso Lyristis and Jonathon Epstein and nine great grandchildren Sasha, Levi, Jodie, Jonah, Julianna, Anya, Ariela, Leah and Renee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Morristown Jewish Community Center Beit Yisrael, 177 Speedwell Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960.

Dear Susan and family of Jeanette , I am so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know your mom. In fact Susan you will be hard pressed to remember me. Which I don't even expect. I just happen to read of your loss and wanted to pass along my condolences.
We were in grade school together many moon ago in Morristown. At Alexander Hamilton. At the time my name was Linda Wright. However like I said it was a long time ago and I just wanted to express my sympathy.
