John E. Colucci, Jr

AGE: 62 • Panther Valley

John E. Colucci, Jr., 62, of Panther Valley, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Barn Hill Care Center in Newton. Born in Newark, Mr. Colucci was raised in South Orange and lived in Budd Lake prior to moving to Panther Valley nine years ago. He was a produce clerk at Kings Grocery Store for 20 years, most recently in Bedminster, and was a member of U.F.C.W. Local 1245. He was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hackettstown.

The son of the late John E. Colucci, Sr. and Marian (nee Metrione) Colucci, John is survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert & Ann Colucci and Anthony & Brenda Colucci; his niece Dara Parisi, as well as his faithful canine companions, Brandy and Cashew.

A memorial talk will be given at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 16 Parkway Drive, Hackettstown, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hackettstown Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 16 Parkway Drive, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 or the American Cancer Society, 7 Ridgedale Avenue, Suite 103, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927. Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton. Online condolences may be offered at www.smithmccrackenfuneralhome.com.
