Joseph Clayton Obituary
AGE: 8 • Dover
Joseph Douglas Clayton passed away peacefully after a courageous 14 month battle with brain cancer on Sunday, February 7th 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 8 years old. Joey was born in Abington, Pennsylvania. He lived in California and Oklahoma before moving to New Jersey 2 1/2 years ago. Through it all, Joey was a dedicated 3rd grader at Dennis B. O'Brien Elementary School in Rockaway Township. He enjoyed playing soccer and basketball. Some of his loves were the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks, The Avengers, Batman and most of all WWE Wrestling. His favorite wrestler was John Cena and he had the opportunity to meet him! Joey was extremely brave and strong. He fought everyday with a beautiful smile on his face and touched the hearts of everyone who met him. Joey truly appreciated everyone who helped and supported him in his fight. He was a hero and will continue to live on through all who love and know him including everyone who is a part of TEAM JOEY.
Joey is survived by his parents, Joseph and Jennifer(nee-Parncutt); his brothers, Robbie and Chance; his sister Fayth; his grandparents Colleen and Frederick Costello and Douglas and Jacqueline Parncutt; his Aunt Kiley and Uncle Gary Smith, Aunts Melanie, Ryan and Crystal, along with many loving extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 11:00a.m. on Friday, February 12th 2016 at St. Mary's Church. 345 South Main Street, Wharton. Interment: St. Cecilia Cemetery, Rockaway. Visiting hours are on Thursday Evening from 5-8p.m. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. I am sorry for your loss,I don't know you but I had a sister who died from that also,but I also had a son who died at 3 mo.old my prayers are on their way to help you cope with this sadness,I know how you feel and now he is in heaven with no more pain.

Hey handsome beautiful angel, you are an inspiration full of life and love, your a beautiful angel that will shine down on everyone, you will be missed, keep that wonderful smile going and your happiness, I know your hanging out with all the puppies and cat's, and watching over your family's and all those wonderful friends you met during treatment, we will never forget you, prayers to your family they had a handsome boy that lite up the world, you will be around as a beautiful butterfly and lady bug, why because they are the best thing that show's your around, god bless our friends, and continue to look down on those kids and share hope, your friends at rite aid pharmacy..
