He will always be loved, remember, and missed. <3 my heart goes out to his family and friends.

I am at a loss for words as I sit here writing. Josh was such a sincere, sweet, funny and memorable person. Even though we lost touch, it is easy to remember what it was about him that made him hard to forget. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and all loved ones in this difficult time.

I remember Josh and Matt from the days of midget wrestling. My brother Jimi grew up always wrestling Matt when Belvidere and Blairstown East met each season and often in tournaments. Josh was always a joy to watch on the wrestling mat even if he was on the opposite team!
My deepest condolences are with you at this time and I know where Josh is right now, he is in good company.

Josh and I were in the same graduating class. He was one of those people that you remember from high school long after you fall out of contact with everyone else. I have a vivid memory of sitting next to him in study hall our freshman year of high school, trying hard not to laugh after being told to quiet down by the librarian. The more she told us to be quiet the harder it was to hold in the giggles. Josh was so bright and yet remained modest even while achieving so much. I'm so very sorry for your loss, Josh was truly remarkable.

I had the privilege of teaching with Josh at Newton High School for three years. He was a great teacher and beloved by those whose lives he touched. Not to mention he was great at crossword puzzles. My prayers are with his family and friends. God Bless You, Josh.

To The Tresslar Family,
Although we had only met Josh a few times he was a fine young man. Josh achieved many things that most would only wish to achieve in a lifetime.
To Matt,
You are like a son to us, wish we could be there with you at this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family,
Love

To the Tresslar Family,
Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to all of you - such a loss is unfathomable to most of us. Josh was an intelligent, caring, talented, independent, strong, ethical and honest student, and certainly those characteristics only deepened and strengthened as he progressed through manhood. May God bless you, his family, in this your time of need. Go with God Josh.

Belvidere Wildcats... thats where I first met Josh. The great thing about Josh was that as he matured his heart would only get bigger and bigger. Such a kind and pleasant individual to be around. He was always so involved, whether it was with his sports or trying to make a difference as our President, he always made time when he was needed. Although we lost touch after High School- Josh Tresslar was never and will never be forgotten. My condolences goes out to the entire family and friends. God bless you Josh.
