Randy J. Hiner

Randy J Hiner, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at his home in Ellensburg, WA. With his family at his side. Randy was born on January 5, 1955 in Ellensburg, WA to his parents Donavon A. Hiner and Pearl M. Flanagan Hiner. Randy grew up in Ellensburg with his two older brothers, Larry A. Hiner and Michael D. Hiner.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother. He is survived by his bothers Larry (Mary Lou) and Mike. He leaves behind his wife Jonna, daughter Echo (Chad) Messinger, the granddaughter he raised, Chaelynn (David) Jensen, 3 other granddaughters Olivia, Abbigayle, Hailey, and a grandson A'Jay. Randy spent his entire life in Ellensburg. While in high school he joined a band called Nash. They toured the Northwest. Later in life he was called upon to be caretaker for his mother, Pearl, and took on this challenge for several years. He and Jonna started dating October 1993, and they married on August 8, 2004. Randy earned his degree with High Honors in Radiology at Yakima Community College and went on to work for 25 years at KVH Healthcare. He worked his way to become Lead CT Technologist at KVCH. He was proud of his work and loved his co-worker family. A service will be held at The American Legion in Ellensburg, on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 1:00 pm with a celebration to follow.
