Roy Whitlock Obituary

WHITLOCK, ROY E., age 87, passed away on May 7, 2014 in Waikiki, Hawaii. He was the beloved husband of the late Sarah J. Whitlock; loving father of Ray Whitlock and the late Brenda Churchill; grandfather of Adrian M. Schoenherr and Kathryn E. Whitlock; and brother of Velma Odle, Betty Leeper and the late Janice Steadman. Mr. Whitlock was a retired World War II U.S. Navy Commander with 31 years of service. He also was a member of the Navy League of the United States since July 1, 1980. The visitation will be Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 3-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 West 11 Mile Road (4 blocks East of Woodward), Royal Oak. Mr. Whitlock will lie instate Friday, May 23, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak.
