OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Satuday, November 16th, 2013 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, LA for Mr. Scott Wilson Thomas, 29, who entered eternal rest on Friday, November 8th, 2013 in Duson, Louisiana.
Interment will be in St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, Louisiana. Pastor Ken Domingue will officiate the services.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his mother Mary Bernadette Thomas of Leonville; stepfather: Joseph Clinton Journet of Cecilia, one son Aiden Thomas, of Duson; two daughters A'Shiya Valerie of Lafayette, Kailey Thomas of Port Barre, Louisiana; brother Joseph Nathaniel Thomas (Rashida) of Sunset, LA; Derrick Robertson, Trevis Robertson, and Christopher Sam all of Opelousas; sisters: Kristy Wright (Christopher) of Carencro, LA, Tramika Thomas of Leonville; Youlanda Armstrong of Lafayette; Caprica Rideau, of Opelousas, his grandfather Robert Thomas, Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and special friends.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his father Joseph Henry Thomas; paternal grandparents Joseph Curley Thomas and Mary Landry Thomas; maternal grandmother Dorothy Mae Lastrapes Thomas and brother Marcus Sam.
Visiting hours will be observed from 7 to 11 AM in St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 126 Church Rd, P.O. Box 544, Leonville, LA 70551.
