Scott Dansker Obituary

Scott Dansker
Scott Dansker
Scott Dansker, a resident of Darien, Connecticut and a High School student at Admiral Farragut Academy passed away suddenly on Friday, April 23, 2021 in St Petersburg, Florida. Scott was a triplet born on July 29, 2004 to Brad and Serina Dansker. He was 16 years old.
From the moment he was born, Scott's inner joy, magnetic personality, and charm captivated everyone he met. He was a bright star who lit up every room he entered. He had a passion for politics and debate and would challenge anyone to take him on. Scott was also an old soul who enjoyed the Golden Oldies "80's" music, and his great dance moves made him the life of the party. In his short life, Scott wrote original poetry, cared deeply about his community, and enjoyed wrestling, scuba diving, sailing, and camping. A place where he felt he was his most true self was Camp Hazen. His love of science and nature in addition to the lifelong friendships he made there made Camp Hazen his second home. He was a Boy Scout, Venture Scout and the Senior Patrol Leader of his troop in Florida. He will be widely missed by family and friends.
Scott is survived by his parents, Brad and Serina Dansker; his two siblings, Jake and Lexi Dansker; and his grandmother, Joan Cioffi.
A walk-through visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Boston Post Road, Darien, CT 06820. Scott was the best person I ever met. I miss miss him forever. He was my soulmate. Not a day will go by that I haven't thought about him. I text his number every day and update him on how things are back at home. I hope he was right about being reincarnated as a plant. Ill miss him for the rest of my life.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Scott during his time in Onandaga. His boundless energy and constant smiles were infectious. He was loved by the whole village, always looking out for others and giving a helping hand wherever it was needed. He played an integral role in making that session a memorable one for so many.

He truly lead by example and he not only made an impact on his peers and fellow campers, but on me and staff alike. Its those relationships and experiences that make Camp Hazen such a special place.

I will have fond memories of the conversations we all had in the Pavillion at the end of a busy camp day.

Thinking of you all.
Louis

Scott and I have been friends for 3 years now. In those 3 years I never once would have thought that we would lose him so soon. I haven’t been nearly as close to Scott this past several months since I moved away and switched schools. I regret that more than anyone could possibly imagine. To Scott’s family, you raised one incredible person and you have my deepest condolences. He influenced my life in so many ways. I love you Scott, rest easy.

I haven’t known Scott as long and I wasn’t as close to him. However, I want to say that he was genuinely a good person. Every morning, if I was hungry, he would bring me food. He was a leader and I will never forget him.
