Sister Agatha, you were an outstanding woman of faith and an inspiration for me and so many other young women at BCU. You were the first person who met my mom and I at the front door of BCU. You had a welcoming and beautiful smile which made this very shy girl feel at ease with my new surroundings....and for that I am truly thankful. Sister Agatha, you were a true Blessing...We will All miss you. We love you... Rest in peace.

I have vivid memories of an extraordinary woman. As a foreign student who didn´t know english her welcoming and sweet smile made me feel confortable. lLoved her art class. Could be there for hours. She was patient, encouraing, praising our work. Forever in my heart. I will see you again Sister!!

Sister Agatha was a taskmaster for sure for us teenage girls at the School of the Brown County Ursulines! I attended during the mid60s, during a turbulent time for our country, including a year during which my father served in Vietnam with USAF in 1968. There were several girls there whose father had died there, although I did not know this until many years later when I attended reunions there more than 30 years after I had been a student. I remember many letters back and forth from my father using an APO address in San Francisco, although I did not know exactly where my father was during that time. He did not speak of his time there much, even when he was dying in 2000. The boarding school kept many of us insulated from this chaotic time for our nation, when several assassinations of prominent individuals occurred. However, the Ursulines nuns cared for us then, and I will be forever thankful for their teaching and caring for us, and who took the place of our parents for many of us. I did not graduate from BCU, but of the three high schools I attended, the School of the Brown County Ursulines was the most influential in forming my future character. God bless Sister Agatha and the Ursulines of Brown County!
