Beverly Gates Obituary
Age 74, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 25, 2023, at Phillips Temple CME Church, 3620 Shiloh Springs, Trotwood, Ohio 45426. Walk through visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to THOMAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 4520 Salem Ave.

Nikki, BJ, Mr.Gates, I am so sorry for your loss. Nikki you were my first friend in Kindergarten at Broadmoor. I remember us playing together at your house. Your mom and dad were always so nice. We lost touch over the years but ironically, my husband (Lamar) and I started hanging out with your mom and Mrs. Donna and her Husband at the Trotwood Basketball games. Your dad even showed up at a few games.. I was so Blessed to have been able to spend time, talk with and cheer on my son and his team with them!!! We looked forward to sitting with them at all the games.. I will always hold dear those memories. I lost my dad in 2019 so I know how hard it is to loose a parent. Your family will forever be in my Prayers. May God give you the strength to carry on..
