Jennifer and family: Living here I
Florida, I don´t hear to much about
Things up in Dayton. How sad it was to hear about Brads Death.
Was around Brad for a number of years in baseball and respected his strong efforts in working with the young players in the Dayton are. Brad had a magnetic personality, that just got your attention. Their was always a call from Brad to get down to Cincinnati when his cousin Ron
Perranoski the pitching coach of the LA Dodgers would set us up for three days of lots of baseball
Chatter. What a truly class act Ronnie was, and some of the things that occurred at the hotel
Where the Dodgers stayed were really funny! Fernando Valenzuela, Steve Yeager, and what they put Tommy Lasorda
Through at the hotel you could write a book about.
When I think of someone that I met and liked during my lifetime, I
Always think of Brad. Bob Noble/

Just was made aware of Brad's passing by seeing his name in the University of Dayton Magazine. I played for Brad at Patterson Co-Op, summer leagues of 1969 & 1970. We went 19-0 before losing 2 in the city tournament in '69. I learned a lot about baseball from him, enough to play 4 years at Wright State in their inaugural years. He will be missed !

Brad was my baseball coach at UD from 1978 - 1980. He was a strong motivator and his dedication to the game and the UD program was second to none. Even when the UD athletic dept. Didn't support Brad's attempt to make UD's baseball program a quality Division I program during my tenure, Brad continued to fight for his players and their dreams. I went to UD because of Brad's dedication and passion for UD baseball. I will never forget Brad Driesen. He helped me achieve my dream of playing Division I college baseball in the type of program and atmosphere I had wanted to be a part of since I was 7 yrs old; for 3 yrs anyway. He will be sorely missed.

Brad was a great friend of mine at Notre Dame High School, graduating in '61. We kept in touch over the years; most recently having enjoyed a Dayton/Fordham baseball game a couple of years ago with some other friends. I will always remember his enthusiasm for life, and the moments we shared both on and off the (basketball) court.

I have know Brad my entire life, and a lot of my childhood memories have him in them. I will miss the man who was, at times, seemingly larger than life.

Jennifer, Debbie, Ron and Diana,

My sincerest condolences go out to all of you. May you all look to GOD to carry you through this time of brievement. Not only was Brad my grade school gym teacher in the 60's at Jane Adams but he was also my dear friend until the end. I thank GOD for allowing me to spend time with him several days before his final rest.

To all of you remember that he gave so much love and he was loved by many people. I know he helped me out alot of times though the years be it with a song, laughter, words of encouragement, monetary or just an ear to listen. He loved my children (Dwight and Dawana Anderson) just as if they were his very own. I'll never forget when you all took DaWana on a cruise. I am truly grateful for the years I shared with him and I will never forget Brad for he will always remain in my heart.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

Keep the Faith, I love all of you
