I was lucky enough to have Brian and Ted as neighbors growing up. I adopted them as brothers, and luckily...they adopted me right back. I have never met a family with a bigger heart.
It has been too many years since I have last talked to Brian, but he has never strayed too far from my thoughts. He was a special kind of person that touched everyone that knew him.
We can only be glad that we knew him as long as we did.
As a mother now myself, I cannot image your grief, Artie. But please take some comfort in the fact Brian lives on in so many of us--he is loved and he will be truely missed. ]
With all my love,
Erin (Baxter) Hartsock

I adopted Brian and Ted as part of my family growing up--luckily, they adopted me back. Artie and the Boys aways had a place for me--whether just for dinner or the holidays. I was lucky enough to know Brian for the time I did. Time and life took us in different directions, but even though it has been too many years since I've seen him last, he has never been far from my thoughts.
As a mother now myself, my heart goes out to you Artie. I know no words can lessen your loss, but I am so sorry.
With all my love,
Erin (Baxter) Hartsock

To The Entire Family and Friends of Brian Fink~ I was just thinking of him the other day, and I regret not reaching out to get in touch....Even though it has been many years since I have seen him, the times we had are still very much alive in my mind and heart.....He is another Angel watching over and guiding us through the journey we have in this life....His soul will always LIVE, and everytime we say his name, or recall a time that he has shared with us, that is another moment we have kept him alive....I will see you on the other side Brian, I love you!!

I am absolutely crushed to hear of Brian's passing. Brian and I lived about three blocks away from each other in Centerville but became close when our paths crossed again at Grand River Academy. Brian went out of his way to make my adjustment to the school a lot easier and I will never forget him for that. When I think of Brian, I remember his GIANT smile and his innate ability to make others smile, even during bad times. The world has lost a truly WONDERFUL person!!! My thoughts are with his family. R.I.P- Brian

I am so sorry to hear of this deeply saddening loss. My thoughts are with Brian's family and everyone who ever knew him. Brian and I met when we were very young and he was so funny, caring and just nice. People just wanted to be around Brian. We lost touch and then saw eachother again a few years ago. He was the same as I had remembered him. His smile was energizing and he seemed so happy as he always had been. I am so glad that we saw eachother that day because it gave me one more great memory of Brian. He will be deeply missed.

I heard the news of Brian and my heart sank. It has been a blessing to know Brian and bond we shared was rare. We had many close years together. His eyes, and his chuckle will forever be in my memories of Brian. He was a true friend to me, always treated me so well and never judged me. I will never forget when he broke his jaw and I would feed him chicken broth through a straw. He would look at me and talk through his eyes. I don't think he enjoyed the broth but loved that he had someone taking care of him... The times we shared, the hugs, the laughs, the tears... all the moments we shared will be cherished. I am forever greatful that I had such a wonderful friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Brians family and friends. Brian, I will miss you and your ability to always make me smile. I will never forget you. Hugs and kisses to our Angel! Love always, Jilly

Brian Fink was the best childhood friend a guy could ask for! We could not be kept apart. Brian and I had a great time playing for the Wee-Elks together, when we were kids. He loved sports, food, music and good times. Brian was a great guy that loved life and, lived it to the fullest. I will never forget the good times I had growing up with Brian, Josh and Teddy. I am so sorry this happened.
