Suchecki, Carol Marie

Carol Marie Suchecki, 95, of Troy, passed away on August 21, 2024 at Story Point in Troy. Carol was born on June 25, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio, and was the daughter of Jacob and Carolyn (Eggert) Miles. She married Theodore Martin Suchecki in 1950 and they spent the next 73 years together. He preceded her in death. Carol is survived by four children: Susan Roby of Tipp City; Sandy (Rob) Jones of Bonsall, CA; Candy (David) Lindeman of Troy; and Theodore (Diane) Suchecki of Beavercreek.

She also is survived by eight grandchildren: Rhiannon Roby of Tipp City; Brenton Roby of Princeton, TX; Elisabeth (Brian) Ravert of Lakewood, CO; Andrew Lindeman of Troy; Luke Lindeman of Casstown; Amanda (Anthony) Weiland of Beavercreek; Jacob (Molly) Suchecki of Beavercreek; Lydia (Carter) Coleman of Bellbrook; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son: Martin "Marty" Lawrence Suchecki and one brother.

Carol was a graduate of John Hay High School in Cleveland. In 1967, she and her family moved to Troy. She worked at Sears in Piqua for 23 years in the shipping and receiving department. Carol was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Troy. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren and was an artist, gardener and active swimmer.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Sept. 28, 2024 at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice or Partners in Hope. Condolences may be expressed to the family through www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
