Family-Placed Obituary

COX, Charles E. Age 64, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2008. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Roger Gleason. Chuck is survived by his wife of the past 44 wonderful years, Betty (Morris) Cox; three beautiful children, Donna & Paul Floyd, Sharon Gleason & Jason Cox; four precious grandchildren, Caleb & Cara Floyd, Justin Hudson & Joshua Cox; one brother, Bill Cox; and by his large & loving extended family. Chuck retired from the Air Force in 1984 with 24 years of service and later from the City of Dayton. Chuck was an avid photographer and gardener, but the main love of his life was his family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Dr. Randy Grimes, Pastor Dan Powell & Rev. Paul Floyd will officiate.
