My dear sweet sister,
Thank you for being an angel in my life and for your great testimony of faith and love to me, mom, Tyonna, Alexis and Darryl. Life here on earth will never be the same without you here with us. Until I wake up at God's feet, I will never understand why you left us so soon.
I am so thankful and feel truly blessed to have had you as my sister for the short time I did. When I think about my loss, I think of my friends who don't have sisters and the people I know who haven't had a good relationship with their sisters. That truly makes me feel sad knowing what they have missed. I wonder if I thanked God enough while you were here for putting such a sweet sister in my life. I pray that Tyonna and Alexis will have a good relationship as good or better than we had. So many siblings don't share that.
Though you shared your heart and some of your "secret" with me, it's still a mystery how you loved and lived through the much suffering of this world and your own suffering with such a cheerful, loving, and thankful heart.

You being gone is only one of the many things that have been so wrong lately. I keep trying to remember how you kept pointing me to God through the bad times. When I talked to you and when I was with you, I felt God's presence. More than almost any other time. Now that you are gone, it's sometimes hard to see God's presence as clearly as when you were here. Mom and I try hard to keep God in our hearts and minds knowing that this was for the best even though it truly feels like it's for the worst! I feel so unprepared to help Tyonna and Alexis cope when there are no words available...
I love you not just because you are my sister, but because you are my soul mate and for the amazing woman of faith and love that you are. Not a day goes by where I don't think of you, miss you, and wish you were here.
It's a month after you are gone and I wish somehow this wasn't real and that when the phone rings, your voice would be on the other end. Your birthday is next month. I wonder how you and Walter would have celebrated it if you were still here. I love you now and always!
Your sister,
Lara

To our dear cousin Walter,
We never met Cristina but yet we felt the love between you and her.
Yes, she endured the pain and suffering but never relented in her love for you.
In the midst of her suffering Jesus came to her and said, Cristina you have suffered this pain for such along time. He reached out his hand and said, take my hand and come with me to Paradise. She reached out and took Jesus’ hand into hers and went with him to Heaven. Now in Heaven there is no pain, suffering and agony only infinite bliss. She’s there now praying for you in your grief and sadness.

With all our love,
Frankie and Nancy

It was over 20 years ago. Many of us happened to be in Pasadena. We had our ups and downs, our trials, joys and hopes. We didn't know what we'd go through later, we still don't know what's next tomorrow. Cristina and yourself met and were happily married. She's suddendly finished her race, way too early, humanly speaking. Yet she's done it! She's resting in peace. May God pour His love and comfort upon you, and give you (and all of us) the strength to persevere until the end.
With christian love, Claire

Loving you was easy my dear and my sense of humor came from knowing your heart. I am always devoted to you. You are my virtuous women. Thank you for our wounderful journey and I long to be with you in the Kingdom and to travel with you to explore new worlds and create new civilizations for our God with you. You are now the bride of Christ and I long to be this too. Thank for your example of faith that you allowed God to work in you. I Can't wait to tell you all the wounderful things people wrote and told me about you.
Till then ...
Your loving husband,
Walter

Evey, Lara & family,
It is so hard to let someone go that has such a big roll in our lives. She is truely and amazing person and we will forever feel blessed to experience Cristina's love and devotion to God and family. The Celebration of Life service was really a nice way change sadness and sorry to a celebration of her life and the difference she made to so many peoples lives in a truely amazing way was very uplifting. I loved your story of travel and sisterly love and I understood why you so looked up to her and had such a close bond. Evey loves her daughter as mothers do, but she is proud of the women you both have become and that is a reflection of the person Evey is. I am so thankful to see how God was with you all during this trying time and how you may not have understood his direction but accepted it with grace and dignity. I feel so blessed to know you all and have you in our lives. I saw how you went forward and did what christians do --believe and trust God! I pray that your momories will help you in the trying times to come. You will all be together again and that this is really only a small part in our journey.

God Bless,
Jamie, taylor, travis, abby and elise.

Walter,
I was touched by your words and stories of the special memories of yours and cristina's unity at the Celebration Of Life Services. I was thinking of her pain, suffering, total devotion to God and family, and I was sad by her suffering and always touched by her devotion. Your stories made me laugh and smile and thats how Cristina would have wanted it at the service. Thanks for putting some more wonderful memories and stories in my heart for her that I can pull from. She is truely an amazing person and I know how much you meant to her. I am so happy that she experienced the earthly love of her life and you both cherished each other so much. The love I saw from Lara's family and her mom was so intense that it spread out into anyone that was near and you felt thier pain and love for Cristina. I am so glad that Taylor was apart of Cristina's life and she saw the total devotion of God, faith and family from her. Cristina has such of way of making Taylor smile and I saw the connection between them and Taylor looked up to Cristina. I know you know she is in a better place and you will be together again, but life on earth will be different for you, her family and friends , but her spiritual presence will always be here and in our hearts.

God Bless,
Jamie, taylor, travis, abby and elise.

Dear Lara & Family,
I feel very fortunate and blessed to have met and known Cristina. As I mentioned to you, I felt as though I had known her my whole life when we began talking and getting to know each other. She will be missed that is for sure. I am here when ever you feel like chatting online. You are never alone. May God continue to bless and comfort you even when it seems that no one is there. Love you.

To Christina's family, It was a privilege to be allowed to care for Christina and you during her last days. The world is surely a sadder place without her. But she leaves behind a family that displayed the same grace, courage and sense of humor that I saw in her during your last journey together. Her love's energy will always be with you and her memory will be with me for a long time to come. Sincerely, Stefi. ( RN from Hospice of Dayton )
