Family-Placed Obituary
PIETRZAK, Daniel Edward Age 57, of Ocala, Florida (formerly of Dayton) passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008, after a long illness due to complications from a liver transplant and diabetes. Dan is preceded in death by his father, Thomas S. Pietrzak, Sr., grandparents, and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his wife Susan and son Matthew, both of Ocala, Florida, sons Daniel Musick and Gabriel Pietrzak of New York, daughter Maria Pietrzak and granddaughter, Lydia, of Knoxville, Tennessee. His surviving relatives in Dayton include his mother Doris Pietrzak, brothers Tom Pietrzak Jr. (Mary), and Tim Pietrzak; nieces Jessica and Christine Pietrzak and Jillian Egbert (Joe), as well as a host of Pietrzak and Whiteted extended family members. Dan grew up in Dayton and lived on the Outer Banks of North Carolina as a boat builder then settled in Florida as a skilled furniture maker. Dan was loved and will be missed terribly. Private services were held in Ocala.

Dan was a man of strongly held beliefs who Always put his family and loved ones first. He added to an environment that moved society forward with his courage and commitment to what he believed was the right way to live. He always treated me and others with a great deal of respect. You will be truly missed Dan.

We were so saddened to receive Susan's mail regarding Dan's passing. We feel fortunate to have stayed in touch with him through all these years of friendship. There are no words to comfort you at this time , but to know he's not in pain anymore will help ease your pain. God Bless.
