Family-Placed Obituary

FOWLER, David Ace Age 67 of Enon, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2005 at Wright Patterson Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Myne Fowler. He is survived by the children he never had, Dale and Marilyn Koogler of Enon and their families. Dave retired from the US Navy after 20 years of active duty service and 10 years in the fleet reserve. He was employed at AAFES for 9 years. Dave was an animal lover and enjoyed The outdoors. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the Dayton National Cemetery 4100 West Third Street. Family will receive friends from 1-2:30 pm Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Road, (causal dress please). In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton 1661 Nichols Road, Dayton, OH 45418. Dale and Marilyn, I remember from all the visits I had to my hometown of Dayton over the years what a very nice man that David was and what a very good friend he was to you. He will be sadly missed. You have my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
