Family-Placed Obituary
KOHN, Ervin Age 82, of Trotwood, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Kohn was a retired Real Estate Agent in the Dayton Area for many years. He was a member of Beth Abraham Synagogue, B'Nia Brith, Jewish War Veteran, Navy Veteran of WW II & member of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors. Ervin is survived by his loving wife of 50 Years, Gertrude L.; sons & daughters-in-law, Robert A. & Janice G. of Vandalia, Fred & Barbara of CA; grandsons, Gabe & Aaron; brother & sister-in-law, Richard & Roberta Kohn of Columbus; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives & friends. Funeral service 12:00 Noon Wednesday at the Beth Abraham Cemetery Chapel, 1817 W. Schantz Ave. Rabbi Dr. Hillel Fox & CantorJerome Kopmar officiating. Interment Beth Abraham Cemetery. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Beth Abraham Synagogue or Covenant House. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Home, N. Main St. Chapel.

Dear Gertrude and Family,
I am in Korea with my daughter Jill (she is on a Fulbright Fellowship here) and just read the passing of your beloved husband, Erv. He was a real gem. My parents and Erv always teased about the "tips" he collected at my parents wedding in 1939. I am truly sorry for your loss.
