Mrs. Vanderbrink was a wonderful teacher, I think for my second grade. Helped get me off to a good start in life. I believe she was a friend of our family, maybe had three of the four Edwards kids. She was so nice, probably why I had a crush on Pam when I was a freshman. Peace be with you all. Love, Steve

Condolences to the family. May her soul rise higher and higher in the next realm and may her memory be a blessing.

What an elegant and classy teacher. She was the best I had. Mrs. Vanderbrink noticed me and based on testing had me advanced to 3rd grade in the middle of the year. I was honored to advance, but sad that I did not get the full year with her.

It is clear that she touched many lives positively. Such is the multiplicative affect of being a great teacher.

I am delighted to learn that she went skydiving as a septuagenarian.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Mrs. Vanderbrink was my 2nd grade teacher that I adored. My love for reading was established in her class. I also learned many life long lessons having her for my teacher. One of my most memorable moments was being chosen to take home our class hamster named Charlie, for the Summer, and returning him in the Fall. Once I returned him to school, Mrs. Vanderbrink bought another male hamster so that Charlie would have a play mate. Months later she found out that Charlie was actually a female because she had babies! Charlie became Charlotte! I will never forget this. She was such a great teacher!
May Mrs. Vanderbrink Rest In Peace. She will be missed.

She was a great friend to my grandparents Russell and Marilyn Griffith. I remember as a child when I would visit from time to time. Always so nice and very funny! So sad to hear of her passing. May God be with her in a better place.

Worked with Eunice at Kramer. I was a newcomer in many ways. No one looked like me. However I always knew that Eunice was a friend. A group of us had many Fridays after school and shared a drink and laughed about things that had occurred during the week. She was such fun.
When Eunice announced her retirement I was bowled over !!
How could she leave teaching now. Boy did I miss her but somehow we managed to stay in touch , shared a few stories and drank a glass of wine or two.
She is one colleague that I will never forget. She made me feel very comfortable and wanted.
Rest in eternal peace my dear friend. We will meet down the road and share a few more stories !

To Mrs Vanderbrink’s family,
I am so sad to hear that your mom has passed away. She was my 2nd grade teacher and even after all these years I remember being in her classroom. She was one of many teachers from Kramer that influenced my decision to become a teacher. I loved her.

Pam and family.
Mom will be sad to hear of Eunices passing. What a lovely lady! The halls of Kramer still echo with her laughter and kind words. I don't ever remember seeing her without a smile. She truly had a gift for teaching.
Fondly,
Cassie McCartney for the Carl and Marie Garnett family

Mrs. Vanderbrink had a profound influence in my life. In her Second grade classroom, I learned many of life’s lessons and met some amazing classmates. It was in her classroom that I began to believe that I could succeed in any endeavor at which I worked hard enough.

My condolences to her family and friends. May she Rest In Peace with her loved ones.

I loved Eunice - like so many others did. She and Charlie were friends of my parents. They often spent time with us in Cape Cod in the summers. I loved her laugh, that joyful laugh of hers. She was a positive force in so many lives. A life well lived. Margaret Barker

Family of Mrs. Vanderbrink,
In our third grade classroom at Center Road Elementary in Perry years ago (1988), we had the lovely honor of meeting Mrs. Vanderbrink.
Her granddaughter, Meghan Jenkins, was a student in our classroom. Being near Christmas, Meghan's mom, Pam, mentioned that Mrs. Vanderbrink would love to come to the classroom and guide the children in each making a gingerbread house of their own. The day was set and all of the children were anxious to do the project all of which turned out beautifully. It was on that day that "grandma" made Pam and Meghan very proud and a fond Christmas memory for many children in the class was made as well.

May she rest in peace.
