Another year has passed and I still remember Freda. Like I said before, I keep Freda´s picture at my desk to remind myself not to let the days pass without appreciating all the blessings that we have. It takes a person like Freda to remind us of What kindness is all about. Condolence to Freda`s family and friends. She was an asset to all those that knew her and made Kroger a better place to shop. I miss you Freda, but I know that you are in heaven with all of the angels looking down on us and watching over us. I´m glad I got to know you and thanks for enriching in my life.

Ms. Freda was such a wonderful lady. I always loved seeing her when I went to Krogers. She made me feel extra special, and had the sweetest smile, even her eyes seemed to smile. Your Mother touched all of our lives by sharing her kindness. She will be missed deeply. Keeping you and your family in our prayers.

Frieda was such a wonderful, kind cashier. She was my favorite choice, I'd even choose to wait to have her ring my order. She always asked what my weekend plans were and then ask how specific details next time about my previous weekend we discussed. I loved all the sweet names she'd call everyone. She will be missed but not forgotten. RIP Freda.

Freda was a sweetheart. I was one of her regular customers at Krogers. Even if her line was longer than anyone else's I would always go through it just to be able to talk to her for a while. She had a heart of gold and she made everyone feel like they were special. I went in there a couple of weeks ago and did not see her and was hoping that I could find her phone number that she had given me. We were supposed to have lunch together and now I wish so much that we had called each other sooner. I went to Kroger's today and saw her pictures in memorian and I'm just heartbroken. Just from some of the comments from some of the other people doing their shopping today I can tell you that she's going to be very very missed. She had a wonderful impact on everyone's life. I'm very sad and I give my condolences to her family. I'm going to miss her very much.

When I saw Freda's picture in the obits I knew her right away...her smile radiates even in a picture. I am a customer of Krogers, where Freda worked and she stood out with her warmth toward everyone. She always, and never failed, to say hello with this vivacious warmth and caring. It's not often when we come across such a kind person who does not hold back with their friendliness. Freda was unique as she showed the world that everything as OK with her positive outlook on life. The sad truth is that we need more people like Freda who reach out to everyone, whoever they are. Freda seemed to care about everyone, people from all walks of life. Freda shared herself with all of her customers and made them feel special, even if it was only for the time that you spent in her line--she connected in so many ways with us all. No one was just a person in the crowd with Freda. She made everyone feel welcome. Again, I regret not taking the time to seek her out when I did not see her. To show her how special she was. Today I thought that the best way to commemorate Freda's memory is to live life to it's fullest and wear it with a smile. I've written all of these words as I think of Freda, but know truthfully that there are not enough words in the dictionary to give her the justice that she deserves. I cried today as I left Kroger, when I realized for certain that Freda was the person that I saw in the obit. I wish that I had taken the time in my rushing around to stop for a moment and tell her how much she impacted my life.... That lady with her smile and warmth made a difference in my life and I am certain that I was not the only one that she touched. I know this, Freda was welcomed with loving arms as she left this earth for her blessed position amongst all of those people before us that left the best mark of all, love. Thanks Freda for caring, even when you did not have to. I will remember your smile, the one that you wore all of the time as you looked across the store as I walked by...for all of us that were privileged to have crossed your life path. Freda knew something that I often forget, consideration for others.. I will try to take that lesson with me in her honor and recognize that there may not be a next time, so make it count... say thanks, smile when you are not feeling like it,and let others know that they are special. Thanks Freda for all that you gave.. I know that you rest in peace. My prayers are with your family and their loss.
