News Death Notice
SHEARER Frederick "Freddy" age 67, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Dayton, OH, born on November 16, 1941 in Newark, NJ, passed Friday August 28, 2009 at Regency Hospital in Columbus from congestive heart failure. He attended Central State University. "Freddie" was preceded in death by his father, Haywood Shearer; mother, Catherine Hunt; and brother, Steven Hunt. He is survived by his sons, actor ("Hits From The Street") Alfred (Niruthaya) Shearer of Los Angeles, CA and Fredrick V. Shearer; mother of sons, Dr. Anne Shearer-Steele of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Gregory (Lois) Hunt, and Lamont Hunt both of Orange, NJ; God Son Damien Sheppard of Columbus OH; aunts, Laura Fisher of NC and Ruth Troupe of NJ; best friend, Freddie Steed of Dayton, OH; dearest friend and caregiver, Renee Sheppard- Thompson and family; host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Private services arranged by family. The family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Professional services entrusted to the Wayne T. Lee Funeral Service, of Columbus OH.
