Hard to believe Gary left us 16 years ago. I think of him all the time. He was an example of how a man should be. I am sure he was rooting on the Bengals this year. I finer man there never was. Love and miss you tons.

Dear dad,

I don't know where to start so I am just going to start writing from my heart. You are my hero and always will be. I know how much pain you were in and I understand. Kevin, myself, and the rest of the family are looking after mom as I know you are from heaven. Words cannot describe how much you mean to me and my love for you. You were the best father Kevin and I could have ever asked for. You were always there for your family, friends, anybody. I am just upset that I didn't get to say goodbye dad. I still remember you wrestling on the blanket with kevin and I, fishing with us, throwing the baseball, and coaching our teams. I remember looking up at you during a sporting event to have you give me that thumbs up or that special look that would make us give it just a little extra. I most remember how you were a loving husband to mom and how you were always there for us to talk to know matter what. Dad, I don't know if I will ever fully get over this. It brings peace to me though knowing you are out of misery watching over us. I love you dad.

To Debbie and the family,

I feel real sad and my deepest sympathy. My daddy and I would thank to Gary very much for helping us clear snow on our driveway with his snow thrower on December 22, 2004 during it was snowstorm with about two feet of snow. We would never forget him how nice he was to us!

God bless you,

Just to let everyone know A.J. was born early yesterday morning. While I feel bad Gary wasn't here for the event, I know he is in heaven making sure his grandson is taken care of. There is no doubt of the the love Gary felt for his family, and he will protect A.J. anyway possible.

Gary we love you and never will forget you!!!

Dad,

I'm not sure where else I'm going to be able to say this...so here goes. When I first heard I was so mad at you, but I have since come to realize that heart was in the right place (as it has always been). You left us, to take care of us. Dad I just want to let you know that I am no longer mad at you, nor will I ever be in the future. Your pride and love for your family was the most important thing to you, and I understand.

Please watch over Mom, as she is struggling along with the rest of us. I know that you are still with us, and are loving us more than ever right now. When the time is right, your grand-baby A.J, will know what a wonderful grandpa (papaw) you are.

I love you dad

Debbie, Chris and Kevin,

Words can't express what I am feeling right now. The four of you were truly a loving family. Many families spend years trying to achieve what you were able to in the short time together. Debbie being a wonderful mother and wife. Gary doing whatever he could to make sure his family was taking care of. Both kids loving the parents so much that they have memories of growing up that they can recite stories for hours.

Healing is a gradual process that will take time. Take pride in the the love that we as a family for each other and know that there are truly strength in numbers.

We will never forget Gary and the special place in our heart that we have for him. We need to cherish the special memories we have of Gary to help us get through the difficult times ahead.

I love all of you very much!!!!

Dear Debbie, Chris and Kevin,

I want to express my deepest sympathy to you. Gary was a man that I truly respected. I have many great memories of Gary that I will hold dear to my heart for the rest of my life. He took me on my first motor cycle ride, which was more of a flight than a ride. Coaching little league baseball together. Watching him pump his fist to the sky in celebration as Chris or Kevin made a big play on the football field, or pinning an opponent in a wrestling match. Draw stregth from each other and family knowing that you are loved. Do not feel alone or afraid. We are here for you.

I Love You
