Helen GILMORE

GILMORE (Flowers), Helen M. Age 74 of Dayton, OH went home to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness on Friday, August 18, 2017. She was a native of LaGrange, Georgia, and a resident of Dayton for many years. A former employee of the VA Medical Center and Lenz Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lady and Silver Flowers, Jr.; son, Bobby Flowers, Sr.; siblings, George Russell, Leon C. Sr., Hurries "Bill", Kelly Silver Sr. "KS", James "Grady" and Logan Flowers, Dorothy Flowers Bray and Selema Ferrell. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Gilmore "Neicy"; grandchildren, Bobby Jr. and Danielle C. Flowers, Biana L. Minter and Chase D. Jones; great grandchildren, Izaiah, Chloe, Carly and Mumford "Mack" Flowers, Kayla and Charlie Johnson, special cousin Lawrence "Larry" Flowers Sr. all of Dayton, OH and lil' brother James R. (Michelle) Thrash II of Hogansville, GA; sisters-in-law, Jenniel Flowers of LaGrange, GA and Tsuneko "Kim" Flowers of Lawton, OK; (11) nephews, (13) nieces; special friends Laverne Davis, Anna Jones, and Jennifer Ware all of Dayton, OH and Elsie Mitchell of Columbia, SC.; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m., Monday, August 28, 2017 at MT. CALVARY MBC, 3375 W. Siebenthaler Ave. Pastor Samuel N. Winston, Jr., officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment: Woodland Cemetery.
