News Death Notice
PAYNE, James Ray "JR" age 54, of Kettering, formerly of Marshall, NC passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Kettering Medical Center. He was an independent truck driver in the shipping industry. "JR" was preceded in death by his father, James O. Payne and brother-in-law, Richard E. Sachtleben. "JR". is survived by his loving wife, Donna J. Payne (Sachtleben); children, Becky Osborne of Lordstown, OH, Louie Payne and Bob Payne both of Kettering and Alita Buckner of NC; 6 grandchildren, Stephanie, Allen, Daniel, Savannah, Noah and Cannen; mother, Pauline Payne of NC; brothers and sisters, Alan, Donna Kay, Ricky, Ann, Marie, Joyce, Richard and Ronnie. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Rev. John Mattson officiating. Burial in Centerville Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-6:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 96280, Washington DC 20077.
