Sharon, I was so shocked and sorry to hear of John's passing. I learned of it through the network of our H.S. reunion. John and I knew each other from grade school and were very active and friends through Salem Lutheran Church youth (now New Hope)also.
Our parents were also friends through the church. At our last reunion we talked about meeting in Mich since we our places weren't that far apart. Sorry we didn't have the opportunity to visit there. Please convey my sympathy also to Sue and Vince..Sincerely Bonnie Pabst Frederick 5144 Perry Rd. Mt. Airy, Md 21771 [email protected]

To the Moorman Family, I am very sorry to see the passing of John. I first met John and Sharon as the Asst. Manager at Miami Valley Golf Club in the early 90's. I still cherish the many conversations I had with them, usually talking about family and vacation adventures, but mostly knowing what good family people they were. John was always kind, thoughtful, and someone I looked up to. I will never forget the time I called John to ask him for Boyne, Michigan traveling advice. He gave me the advice I needed, but then proceeded to tell me that he and Sharon were flying up to Boyne that same weekend and that my friend and I could fly up there with them. That gesture and flight is a lifetime memory of mine, and just one example of the type of man John was, always friendly, kind, and generous. Although it has been many years since I last saw or spoke to John, I am glad I was able to know such a fine man. I am truly sorry for your loss.
