News Death Notice

WARREN, John Phillip age 80, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009. He was born January 19, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio. John was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Navy, member of the VFW Post 657, American Legion Post 200, AMVETS 464, the Milton Athletic Club, and retired from Economy Linen. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Luella (Meyers) Warren; father, Rowl Warren; mother, Sudie Crossley; step-father, Harold Crossley; brothers, Ronald, Raymond, and Neil Warren. He is survived by his sister, Carol (Cliff) Hewitt; two sons, John Gary (Donna) Warren and Phillip Terrance (Joan) Warren; four grandchildren, Kari, Leslie, Michael, and Christopher; two great-grandchildren, Blake and Mia; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, December 18, 2009 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 10:00 am.
