HOAGLAND, Rev. Jonathan Lawrence Age 55, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, OH. He was born on November 22, 1962 in Springfield, OH, son of Rev. David A. and Martha J. (Roberts) Hoagland. On November 9, 1991 he married Dorothy Louise Hardesty, who survives. He was served as minister for the Church of the Nazarene for 27 years and was active working with the Food Pantry of Grover Hill. He is also survived by his mother, Martha J. Hoagland, Springfield, OH; children: Jehane Hoagland, and Fredrick Hoagland, Grover Hill; siblings: Douglas (Joyce), William "Russ" (Janice), Mark Hoagland, and Melissa (Randall) Smith, all of Springfield, and David (Susan) Wilson, of Farmer City, ILL. He is preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Monday, June 11, 2018 at Church of the Nazarene, 210 Dooley, Dr., Paulding. Burial will follow in the Junction Cemetery, Auglaize Township. Visitation will be 2 8 PM Sunday, June 10 at the Church of the Nazarene Fellowship Hall, Paulding. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Nazarene Campgrounds Camp Scholarship Fund St Mary's Ohio or a charity of the donor's choice.
