News Death Notice
DIORIO, Joseph Age 82 of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015 at home. Joe was born on November 21st, 1932 in Dayton to the late Joseph and Santina (DiTomaso) Diorio. He was preceded in death by son-in-law, Stephen Pacey; three brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Juanita Jo (Gudgel) Diorio; daughters, Karen Pacey of Winchester, England and Donna Diorio & Perry Morgan of Fairfield, Ohio ; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, and Emily Pacey; and a sister, Dolly Angel. Joe was a graduate of Stivers High School and the University of Dayton. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired after 30 years of civilian service at WPAFB and DESC. He went on to work 22 years at Sugar Valley Country Club. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4th, 2015 at Normandy United Methodist Church, 450 Alex-Bell Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45429, with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Jim Riggs and Rev. Harvey Smith officiating. Entombment Woodland Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Normandy United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
