News Death Notice
CASSIDY, Josephine age 81, of Kettering, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009. She was born September 19, 1927 in Johnson County, KY, to the late Joe and Lillie Wells. Josephine worked at Elder Beerman and NDM corp. for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Cassidy and grandson, Scott Michael MacKnight. Josephine is survived by her children, Shirley (John) MacKnight, Mike Cassidy, Jim (Vicki) Cassidy, Danny (Debbie) Cassidy and Jeffrey Cassidy; grandchildren, Ericka Mattingly, Amy (Chris) Winkelman, Eric (Kate) Cassidy, Beth Cassidy, Ryan Cassidy and Daniel Cassidy; great-grandchildren, Sean Stinnat, Greyson Wilhoite, Alexandra Winkelman and Davis Mattingly. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 2 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. To send the family a special message online please visit, www.NewcomerDayton.com.
