To Barb and Rick, and all of the Hungerford and King family,
I was saddened to hear of Kelly's passing. It has made me reflect back to our elementary school days in Englewood. It is hard to believe such a beautiful person is gone so soon. My sympathy and prayers go out to all of you. We all know there are angels above us and she is now one.

Kelly truly was a beloved substitute teacher and that makes her a truly rare and special individual. I had the great pleasure of meeting her at HES. She is the uncommon sub that became part of the staff. She touched many lives there, children and adults alike. Her strength and bravery and joy for life these past two years, well, she left a tremendous gift for those of us left behind. To Kelly's family, you have my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for sharing this extraordinary woman with us.

Kelly was a woman of strength, courage and dignity. Her love, kindness, and grace under pressure were unparalleled. What an amazing fighter! Although I only knew her a short while, I treasured her. She was simply delightful and I will surely miss her. Sending my heartfelt condolences to Dave and all of her family and friends. Until we meet again... Christi <3

Kel & I have been "best friends" for 35 years..... since we were 15 yrs. old! We loved each other like sisters, and our bond will never diminish. The AMAZING, fun times we had growing up together, literally give me a lifetime of memories with her!
Dave, Tom, Kel & I were the "4 Muskateers"......and truly spent our lives together!!!! EVERY memory I have practically includes Dave & Kel......& Hunter, Morgan & Braden!!!
Though the distance has widened for our friendship now, it will not matter one bit.......for the LOVE I have for my "best friend" will continue to grow & be strengthened! She's become my guardian angel, for which one day she will help fit me for my wings, when I join her in HIS Glorious Kingdom!
Be JOYOUS for her, for she's starting her eternal journey, & ohhhh what a ride it will be.....
Love you Kel........ to the moon & back

Our family was so saddened to hear this news. Kelly and I shared a great friendship in our college days and were classmates at Alter. I have some great memories to keep of her and her wonderful family. May God bless and keep you close during this difficult time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew you in our youth at Alter. You had a beautiful spirit then and it sounds as though that loving spirit grew ten-fold as the years passed. May your light shine through all those you have touched in your short time on this earth. I pray you are at peace and resting in Jesus' loving arms.
