Lillian was an important person to our Moraine Senior Club. She was Vice. President for several years and Trip Committee Chair for several years. She was quick witted and smart as a whip. She could make fast decisions. After a troop to the Living Bible Museum, we stopped at Richland carousel. Then on the way home, we stopped at Ohio Penitentiary to take pictures. A man came out too the gates and told us they were remodeling, but we could come in for a private tour. Lillian said yes right away. Our group were the only ones there we had the place to ourselves. We could never head North without a detour to Youngs' Dairy. One time we had finished lunch at the County Senior Day at Had a Arena. We found out that we had rented the bus for 2 more hours. If we went home then we would still lose the money paid. Lillian up an said "we're going to get ice cream at Youngs." We always had a good time with a few surprises now and then. Lillian was her own person who liked you or not. She would say so. Lillian was honest, caring, full of life. She loved her friends and seniors. Most if all she loved her family. Lately I saw her at the Milton Club for Brian Brenner shows and luncheons. Lillian also loved 50's& 60's and country music. She also liked butterflies. I shall think fondly of her when I see one. My condolence s to the family. Chris

Lillian was one of the pillars if our Moraine Seniors club. She was Vice President for several years and Trip Committee Chair for several years. We always had nice trips, like the carosell in Richland and the penitentiary where Green Mile was filmed and others. That was just luck. We had stopped at the gates just to see the place. Somebody came to the gates on a golf cart and said they were remodeling, but we could come in for a tour for free. Lillian made the spontaneous decision to accept the offer. Our group got an unplanned private tour. We never could head North without a stop at Youngs' Dairy for ice cream. Once after the Annual Senior Lunch at Had a Arena, we still had 2hs. Before the bus had to be back. Lillian decided to go to the dairy. We always had fun and pleasant surprise. After moving into the care center, I would see Lillian at Senior Day at Had aArena and later Presidential Banguet Center. I looked forward to seeing Lillian at the Milton Club for the Brian Brenner shows and luncheons. She was fiesty and active and a force of nature. She either liked you or not. And she would let you know. Lillian was honest, caring and loved people. Most of all she loved her family. My sympathies go out to Lillians' family and our Senior friends who are missing her. When I see a butterfly I'll think of Lillian.
