Lora Poeppelman Obituary
News Death Notice
POEPPELMAN, Lora Eileen age 51 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Yorkshire, Ohio on September 1, 1959 the daughter of Robert & Virginia (Bergman) Smith. She is survived by her parents, sons Joshua, Jeremy, and Jason Poeppleman, grandsons Samuel and Benjamin, a brother Thomas Smith, and sisters Teresa (Walt) Bertke, Diana (Dave) Brackman, and Patricia (Bob) Gehret, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 7:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, with Rev. Bobbie Predmore officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.

I worked with Lora for many years at MDC. I never knew anyone who loved being a mother more than her. She loved her guys. A great woman. Deepest sympathies.

Words cannot express much in a time like this, but I'd just like to tell your Mother thanks. She managed to raise 3 great sons whom I've been truly blessed to have as friends. I feel so fortunate for the time I've spent with her, and thankful for knowing her. Your family is in our thoughts, prayers, and hearts.
