It was with extreme sadness that we learned that our friend Mike has passed away. Our condolences and prayers are for Pat, Jack and all Mike's family as they come to terms with this great loss.
Mike was a very special friend to me and my family when he was stationed in England. He had a massive heart, a generous nature and a mischievous sense of humour. Mike was a weekly visitor at our house for many years. We were lucky enough to visit several times when Mike returned to the US and although many years passed between each meeting, we always resumed our friendship unaltered. When I last saw him we spoke of him visiting the UK, sadly this never happened. We value our happy memories of Mike and will always remember him with great love.

Mike, I knew you very briefly in the UK. You always put a smile on my face. I know you will be beaming that smile to us all from Heaven. Sweet dreams and rest now in peace.

I worked with Mike at WPAFB in the 1990's. He never failed to make everyone in the office laugh. We gave him the nickname "Greek God" and he couldn't have been more proud! He was a joy to work with. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed.

Michael loved to bowl at RAF Alconbury, England. The story behind this picture is that neither Pauline nor Jane knew how to bowl. Each week, Pauline and Jane would bowl higher then their average. Both finish the season with respectful averages. We finished second in the league that year. Michael was the inspiration behind our bowling enjoyment.

I first met Mike (The Greek God) in 1992 at WPAFB. Little did I know we were kindered spirits from the beginning. Soon found out Mike was also Greenon Grad (I graduated in 84) Jack worked with my father (Joe Fugate) at Vernay Labs and I remember his sister Betsy from Greenon. Mike had the biggest loving heart of anyone I've ever met. He will be forever missed and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Michael was always fun loving.

I am very saddened by the loss of my Uncle Mike. I will always remember him for his childish, fun side. As children, at every family gathering, he would chase us around the house with his "fingers of death" and tickle us. In Christmas cards, instead of his name, he would draw a picture of his outstreatched fingers that we knew were his "fingers of death" pose. We always looked forward and enjoyed this special time with him. In years later, we got to pass this fun time down to our own daughters. These are some of my fondest memories and they will forever live in my memories and most importantly, close to my heart. I love you, Uncle Mike and may you rest in peace. You will be forever missed!

I was saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I first met Mike in 1991 while we were on active duty in the Air Force. We played numerous rounds of golf together and exchanged volleys on the tennis and racquetball courts; Mike won the majority of the time. May he rest in peace and may the Lord comfort those who loved him.
