News Death Notice
HAMLIN, Michael E. age 47, of Kettering, died January 10, 2009. Michael was born February 27, 1961, in Dayton. He was a 1979 graduate of Beavercreek High School and a longtime employee of Riffles Carryout. Michael is survived by his parents, Joel and Janice , of Beavercreek; 1 sister, Christine (Wrobel) and husband, Leo, of Springboro; 3 brothers, Steven and Joseph, of Beavercreek, Jeffery and wife, Laurie, of Beavercreek. He is also survived by 4 nephews and 4 nieces, Brian and Joe Wrobel, Steven and Alex Hamlin, Natalie, Leah, Julianne and Audrey Hamlin. Michael also will be missed by friends, Steve, Billy, Barry, Jeff and Greg. Michael was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, William and Dorothy Koerner and paternal grandparents, Earl and Mildred Hamlin. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. David Hamlin officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday.
