Lubbers, Michael Jay "Mike"

Michael Jay "Mike" Lubbers, 80, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. He was born on March 17, 1945, in Springfield, the son of the late Jay and Marie Lubbers. Mike worked for Drackett Company of Urbana and later retired from Vining Broom in Springfield. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Springfield and St. Teresa Catholic Church. Mike is survived by his wife of 57 years Ann Lubbers; sons Matt (Jen) Lubbers, Chris Lubbers, and Scott Lubbers; daughter-in-law Teresa Lubbers; sister and brother-in-law Susie and Tom Griffith; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Jeff Lubbers and brother Pat Lubbers. Private graveside services will be held by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to North Hampton Community Church, 110 Community Dr., North Hampton, OH 45349. Arrangements have been entrusted to Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
