THOMA, Michael A. 1949 - 2004 Michael (Mike) Thoma of Pensacola unexpectedly passed away Monday November 8, 2004. Mike was a native resident of Dayton, Ohio and had resided in Pensacola since 1976. Mike will be remembered by family and friends as a kind and loving person that always put the needs of others above his own. Mike was full of life and loved the life that he lived. We have all suffered a tremendous loss and will miss him greatly. Mike was preceded in death by his father William Joseph Thoma, mother Mary Louise Klee Thoma, grandparents Howard and Elizabeth Thoma and John and Irene Klee. Survivors include: his wife Deborah Sue Thoma, son Brian Joseph Thoma, daughter Michelle Anne Thoma, sister Patricia Thoma Kirby (Roger), brother Gregory Thoma (Debbie), brother Douglas Thoma (Jeannine), sister in law, Cecelia Baker (Wayne), mother in law, Thelma Nelson, aunts and uncles Jack & Mary Jo Thoma and Tom and Joanne Thoma. His nieces and nephews include; Jason Kirby, Jeffry Jaeckels, Trinity Kirby Roberts, Elisabeth Thoma Zimmerman , Marc Thoma, Matthew Thoma, Bradley Thoma, Adam Thoma, Nicholas Thoma, Marissa Thoma. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Thursday, November 11th 2004 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart; followed by the Committal Service at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held Wednesday November 10th from 6PM -8PM at Harper-Morris with the Rosary from 7:00 - 7:30. The family is accepting flowers, but for those who prefer, memorial donations can be made in honor of Mike to the American Heart Association.
