Pamela PRY Obituary

PRY (Longfellow), Pamela Marie Age 74, passed away Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton after an incredibly courageous and very lengthy battle against cancer. Born in Greenville, OH on August 17th 1942 to the late Floyd Anderson and Gladys (Shade) Longfellow. She is proceeded in death by her son Bradley Anderson Pry, Sister-in-law Glee Longfellow, Sister-in-law Judith Bondarewicz, Brother-in-law Joseph Schaffer and Niece Tracy Longfellow. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Robert Howard Pry, her son Robert II, Daughter-in-law Cheryl (Koehnen) Pry, her Granddaughters Abigail & Madison Pry whom she cherished and adored, Brother Floyd Longfellow Jr. Sister-in-law Janet Schaffer, Brother-in-law Cas Bondarewicz, many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews and many special friends. Pam was a 1960 graduate of Greenville HS, 1963 Graduate of The Miami Valley School of Nursing and spent 30 years as an Emergency Room and Trauma Nurse at Miami Valley Hospital. A longtime member of Normandy United Methodist Church serving on multiple committees and as parish nurse. Volunteer at Hannah's Treasure Chest, and other charitable organizations. Visitation will be held Monday, February 27 from 4 -7 PM at Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. Funeral will be Tuesday, February, 28 10:00 AM at Normandy United Methodist Church, Alex Bell Rd. Centerville. The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton and all the physicians and nurses for their loving care throughout her battle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Normandy United Methodist Church. For those wishing condolences may be left at SchlientzandMoore.com
